Mindful Monday – 30 Minutes of Mindfulness to Ease You into Your Week
A free weekly online mindfulness and meditation session
30 minutes of mindfulness and meditation practice with options for those with neurodivergent minds or chronically ill bodies
Every Monday at 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm (UK/GMT), I will host a 30-minute mindfulness and meditation session. If you are curious about what to expect, please continue reading.
How do I get access?
Click the subscribe button below to subscribe to the Neuro Nirvana Collective newsletter for free. You will then be given a choice between free and paid options. The Mindful Monday sessions are free for both free and paid subscribers.
Each Monday morning, I will send a link to your email via Substack to the online Google Meet Video Room for that day. It will also be available via the Substack app in a post.
Click the link and join the session when you are ready. A big blue button usually says ‘Join Now’ for you to click. If you have any issues joining, please DM me via Substack chat.
So, what happens during those 30 minutes?
Here is the planned 30 minute outline for each session:
- 12:30 pm: The online room opens. Feel free to introduce yourself and chat.
- 12:35 pm: We'll close access to the room, and I’ll share the guidelines for today’s mindfulness practice with alternatives
- 12:40 pm: Get ready for a fully guided mindfulness session. The room will be muted to help create a peaceful atmosphere.
12:55 pm: Our practice wraps up, and I’ll be available for feedback and questions. You can stay or leave at this point as needed.
- 1:00 pm: The video room is closed.
You don’t have to speak or have your camera on. You can join from your office, your home, or your bed if you're too tired to sit up (I may end up leading a few sessions from there myself if my chronic fatigue will not allow me to get downstairs to my office. It is OK to be lying down or sitting during the sessions—we get it!).
You are welcome to introduce yourself by voice or chat; it’s entirely up to you.
You can also share a link to your Substack or website, but there is zero pressure to do so.
This 30-minute session is your chance to focus on yourself. While we often talk about keeping our bodies healthy, giving our minds the care they deserve is just as important. Life can feel like a rollercoaster; taking time to centre yourself can help smooth out those wild loops and drops.
So, come along and make this a weekly ritual to refresh your mind. I can’t wait to see you there.
NOTE: One rule for all our video and chat sessions is to be kind and considerate of others in the room. We will remove anyone who disturbs the meditation sessions or privately messages others without consent.
